| 400 | question_required, query_required, memories_required, invalid_path, invalid_email, invalid_request | Fix the body. Unknown fields are refused. |
| 400 | model_auth_failed | Your Claude account needs reconnecting in Kip, Integrations. |
| 401 | invalid_key | The key is wrong or was reset. Copy it again from Usage. |
| 401 | invalid_partner_key | The partner key is wrong or revoked. |
| 403 | sensitive_request | The request asked for a credential, card or similar value. Kip never returns these. |
| 404 | not_found | scope: "company" without a company account, or no page at that path. |
| 404 | no_company_memory | Recall or Read memory with scope: "company" for a personal account. |
| 409 | user_exists | Create a user: the email has a Kip account you did not create. |
| 409 | external_id_taken | Create a user: that external_id belongs to another email. |
| 429 | usage_limit | Your plan’s credits are used up. The message says when they reset. |
| 429 | model_usage_limit | Your Claude account is out of usage for now. |
| 503 | brain_starting | Your Kip is starting. Retry in a minute. |
| 503 | not_configured | Connect Claude in Kip, Integrations, before asking. |
| 502 | provider_failed | Kip couldn’t finish. Retry. |
