Kip the capybara
AFK developer docs

Kip is each person’s memory at work. Your apps can ask it, search it and add to it, for you, a teammate or the whole company. You can also give your own customers a Kip with one call.

It is the same Ask as Kip chat. A question to a teammate is answered by their Kip, from what they have worked on, and only the answer comes back. Every Ask is one credit on the asker’s plan, whether it comes from Kip, Slack or the API.

API keys

Sign in with Google and copy your key. Make partner keys for your app.

Quickstart

Your first answer in one command.

Kip in Slack

Tag a teammate in Slack and their Kip answers in the thread.

Ask

One endpoint: POST /api/v1/ask.

Recall

Search the memory and read its pages, for your own model.

Kip in your app

Partners: create a Kip user for each customer and answer from their memory.

Build on Kip

A bot, a script, a standup: anything that asks.

Who answers

Personal brains stay private. A teammate’s Kip answers from its owner’s brain and withholds personal information; your app never reads their brain directly. Questions or a use case we should hear about: founders@tryafk.com.
